About a girl
Bio, client list, headshot.
“Art is humanity's most rustic mental hygiene tool."
Born and raised in Brasilia, the capital of Brazil, Ana Siqueira always brings along her background in psychology to her art work. By interacting with the client's subjective identity she helps them outline concepts and deliver ideas into a concrete world, by means of imagery. Her motif stems from humanism and phenomenology.
Ana's hunger for learning got her a skill set that makes her one of the most well versed artists in the industry: with a strong know-how in skincare, make-up, hair, airbrushing and body painting she performs beauty that ranges from clean and crisp to sumptuous full-on looks on a multiplicity of platforms and mediums (motion, stills and events; fashion, commercial and artistic). Her side skills in graphic design allows her to manufacture her custom machine cut paper props and stencils.
Ana is based in New York City and represented by Bernstein & Andriulli. She directs and signs the art of the fine art project "Habitathos” - represented by Galeria Almeida Prado, (São Paulo, Brazil) and sponsored by MAC Cosmetics Pro. Her work has been shown at Brazil's National Museum and its available as a limited edition print series (via contact with the artist directly or the Gallery).
Ana has a special penchant for: tea, cheese, cats, accordions, horse riding, pattern clashing, wabi sabi, psychopharm, visible mending, brooklyn biking, stick n’ poke tattoos, iyengar yoga and soups. Her future goals includes fostering make-up artistry as a gallery warranted medium and learning to sight read sheet music.
