Fine art multi-media personal project based exclusively on Athos Bulção's modernist tile panels scattered throughout the capital of Brazil: Brasília.
(Mental Health Institute, an asylum). Tatiana Lionço, painted in this panel, is a University of Brasília psychology teacher and militant engaged in mental reform causes.
The first hotel in a planned city, an Oscar Niemeyers project. Jade Gola is a music journalist based in São Paulo, found on the internet because of his calf tattoo of this same panel pattern.
(TV tower). Before the digital age, this was the TV and radio wave center in the city, with a gems museum (now a fancy restaurant) it was abandoned for a few years and thats when Poliana Abritta (a journalist native to the the city who presents the main variety Sunday show in the country) was painted. It is the cover of GPS magazine.
One of many traditional early childhood public schools (this one was the pilot/first one), this panel is known as the most rustic (not glazed, just concrete) of Athos designs, with different sized squares aiming at conveying the playfulness and simplicity of kids games. Paulo Ellery is the model - and his pose is in dialogue with the panel's backstory and location.
